LES 2006 Annual Report  This Annual Report of LES (USA & Canada) chronicles the events, activities and participants in the Society during the past year under the leadership of Dwight Olson as President. It also presents the roadmap created by President-Elect Allen Baum to guide the Society through the coming year. This Annual Report is designed to provide both members and nonmembers an overview of what the Society has been doing and its plans for the next twelve months.
Also recognized in this Annual Report are the many LES volunteers and committees who have worked thousands and thousands of hours throughout the past year, in organizing, presenting and otherwise participating in the Society's extensive programs and activities. This report is intended to serve not only as a summary of the accomplishments of the Society and its members, but also as a catalog of the opportunities for future involvement and participation in these and other programs and activities. The Annual Report Committee encourages the wide dissemination of this Annual Report both as an informative publication and as a promotional tool for the Society. We welcome your broad use of the Annual Report, as well as your comments and suggestions for improvement.
