LES Licensing Achievement Award
The Licensing Achievement Award is the most prestigious form of
recognition that an organization can receive from the Licensing
Executives Society.
The award was established to acknowledge those organizations that have
made an outstanding contribution to licensing or other technology
transfer activity. All types of licensing and technology transfer
subject matter are considered. The selection criteria include:
- contribution to the progress or recognition of licensing as a
business activity
- long-term licensing success
- innovative licensing programs
- distinguished licensing success as compared to peers
The Licensing Achievement Award is extraordinary and is granted from
time to time to a deserving candidate, as determined solely by the
Trustees of the Society.

2004 Genentech
2003 United States Department of Energy
2002 IBM Corporation
2000 Pfizer
1999 Stanford University
Nominations for the Licensing Achievement Award are welcome from any LES
member. The information provided should be as complete and
comprehensive as possible to support the nomination in view of the
criteria.
Nominations for 2007 are now closed. Nominations for 2008 award should
be
sent to LES by July 31, 2008 with a copy to the LES Immediate Past
President, who chairs the Awards Committee.
