Keith Adams is a Partner with Deloitte Financial Advisory Service LP and specializes in financial consulting and valuation. Keith has extensive experience with analysis of business interests, equity and debt securities, intangible assets, derivative instruments, and plant assets. Keith’s experience includes: buy-side and sell-side purchase and sale analysis, business disputes, corporate restructuring, fresh start accounting, purchase price allocation, asset impairment analysis, privatization, franchise disputes, tax restructuring, personal financial planning, strategic alternative analysis, property tax, fraudulent conveyance, financing, and others. Industries Keith has served include: energy, technology, telecommunications, food and beverage, manufacturing, securities and commodities trading, consumer products, business services and others.
Mark Gallagher is Mark Gallagher is a practice leader within Duff & Phelps’s Dispute Consulting & Forensic Advisory Services group. He has been involved in investigative accounting for over thirty years and has acted as both an expert and consultant on behalf of clients representing a broad range of industries. He has provided expertise in disputes arising from patent, trademark and copyright infringement, business interruptions claims, lost earnings, fidelity and fraud investigations, anti-trust, damage calculations, breach of contract and product liability. He has also testified as an expert witness in state and federal court in connection with proceedings involving breach of contract, insurance claims, intellectual property claims, product liability and third-party lawsuits.
Steve Snyder is a Director in Navigant Consulting’s Atlanta office where he is responsible for providing economic analysis and international business consulting to determine “arm’s length” pricing for the license of intangible assets, sale of tangible products, provision of services, and loans to support transfer pricing planning and compliance requirements. In addition, Steve is skilled at performing accounting, financial, and economic advisory services for clients seeking quantification of damages, discovery management, expert witness testimony or critiques, analysis of intellectual property licensing / litigation issues, or other litigation support services. He is also an active member of Navigant Consulting’s National Intellectual Property Litigation sub-group.
About the Moderator
John Hudson is a Senior Manager in the Valuation Services practice of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP. He has extensive experience in the analysis, due diligence, valuation and value extraction strategies of all forms of intellectual property. He has performed a variety of engagements including valuation and strategy issues related to technology and IP, IP litigation consulting, licensee identification and license negotiation support, and technology transfers. More specifically, he has provided the following services to his clients: intangible asset valuations, developed and implemented strategic and enforcement licensing programs, calculated reasonable royalties and lost profits, valued and sold royalty streams, and buy / sell IP portfolios. He is also co-chair of the Atlanta Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society.
