Harry F. Arader, founder and President of the Centromere
Group, will share his perspective on the challenges that start-ups and new
business ventures face in commercializing intellectual property.
Centromere Group is a business development and strategy consultancy to the
biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. In addition to providing
consulting services to a wide range of life-science clients through the Centromere
Group, Mr. Arader is also Director and Senior Business Advisor to D Nova Technologies
Inc., Co-Founder of Nanodisc Inc., Independent Director of Midway Pharmaceuticals
Inc., and Business Development Consultant to Orion Genomics LLC.
Prior to starting Centromere Group, Mr. Arader was CFO of Millennium
Pharmaceuticals, Inc., following his tenure at Searle holding such titles as
Managing Director of Greater China and VP of International Marketing and his
sales and marketing years at Merck & Co.
Mr. Arader is a dynamic speaker with a depth of experience on this topic. We
