Cyber-Competitive Intelligence: PDS Workshop
Presented by Ada C. Nielsen, BP America, Inc.
Players, applications, assets, investment, strategies and future direction: these are key touch points of competitive probing. This intensive, hands-on Competitive Intelligence Methodology workshop presents the scoping and proposing of relevant projects, current on-line information services, patent information sources, and use of an available advanced search tool.
Attendees will learn useful tools and techniques for developing meaningful projects, information, and analysis which will result in relevant recommendations for business action. A case study will be used. This Professional Series (PDS) workshop meets one of the PDS Workshop requirements for the Intermediate-level series. (There are no prerequisites for this workshop)
Ada Nielsen is Manager, Intellectual Asset Strategy and advises various teams in exploration and production in BP America, Inc. with a strong track record in identifying and extracting value from non-commercial inventions as well as developing new products and new businesses.

The LES Professional Development Series (PDS) is a specialty program for Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) professionals. The curriculum was developed by the most successful practitioners in the LES membership to raise the level of knowledge and skills of licensing professionals.
