LES Cleveland-Akron Luncheon Meeting

We are pleased to have as our speaker Scott Shane, Professor of Economics, Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Shane will discuss Academic Entrepreneurship, University Spinoffs and Wealth Creation, the subject of his latest book. Scott received his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania and has research interests in the areas of: Technology Entrepreneurship, Firm Formation Process, Business Format Franchising, The Role of Entrepreneurship in Economic Development, and University Technology Transfer and Commercialization.

The meeting will be held at noon at the Corporate Circle South Building on Chagrin Boulevard, and will provide a choice of lunches catered by Fat Sal's Pizzeria. These include Charbroiled Chicken Salad, Turkey Club Sandwich, or a Muffellata Sandwich (an Italian Club). A dessert and a beverage are included. The cost will be $12 payable at the door (checks made payable to "First Principals, Inc."). Please return your reservation - by email or phone - by noon on Monday, June 14. Although we have some very limited flexibility to add reservations after that time, you are obligated to pay for any reservations not canceled before the noon cutoff.

Directions:
The Corporate Circle South Building is located at 30100 Chagrin Blvd. It is a mile and a quarter east of the I-271 exit and a quarter mile west of Lander Circle. The meeting room is on the third floor, just to the right as you exit the elevator. The meeting will start promptly at noon and end by 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be available at 11:30 a.m. and there will be ample networking time.
