We are delighted to have Mr. Pat O'Reilley, who will share his insight in regard to issues of ethics and professionalism in the context of licensing negotiations. Indeed, what is puffing? How can you distinguish legitimate posturing from lying? Pat O'Reilley will answer those questions and discuss other ethical issues that may arise in license negotiations. He will also discuss the difference between being ethical and being professional.

This joint meeting of the Greater Washington, DC and LES Maryland Local Chapters will be held on the evening of  September 15 , 2005 .

Pat O'Reilley  - Partner - Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, L.L.P.

Mr. O'Reilley is a partner at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner in Washington , D.C. where he leads the firm’s technology transactions practice. He is also the current President of the Licensing Executives Society and a recognized expert in the field of transactions and licensing. He focuses almost exclusively on transactions involving intellectual property and technology transfer.
