The University of Alberta, Alberta Agriculture and Food, the Alberta Research
Council and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada have formed a unique Alliance
that supports the agriculture industry in Alberta. All organizations
are committed "To advance Alberta’s agriculture and agri-food industry
through solution-focused and innovative science and technology programs". Alberta’s
agriculture industry will benefit from focused investment and support to cultivate
existing capabilities and build a community of talented researchers and entrepreneurs. A
key component to IFASA programs is the inclusion of industry participation
