LES Florida is pleased to provide the speaker for the February 20, 2008 meeting of the Edison Inventors Association Meeting.  The active group of about 100 will meet at 7:00 PM in the Edison Ford Museum in Ft. Meyers.

Speaker:
John E. Kidd, an LES Florida member will be the speaker for this event.  John has over 40 years of legal practice representing plaintiffs or defendants in intellectual property trials, and counseling his clients on licensing of technology and business ventures.  He is a former Patent Examiner and Patent advisor to the U.S. Navy.  Over the years, Mr. Kidd has participated in over 120 patent lawsuits for clients such as, Baseball Hall of Fame, E.I. du Pont, Genentech, Honda, Harvey Kurtzman (Mad Magazine), ITT, McDonald’s, Nokia, NTT DoCoMo , Pfizer, and Adventis.

Directions:
The Edison & Ford Winter Estates parking area will only be accessible from the East entrance. The gates at the main entrance on McGregor Blvd will be closed for security purposes.

Directions off Hwy 41(also called Cleveland Avenue as it goes through Ft. Myers): At the Edison Ave traffic light go west onto Cortes Blvd. Take Monte Vista to the very end crossing over Harvard Road and Monte Vista.  You have arrived at the back entrance to the museum!
