Technology Licensing: Licensor and Licensee Perspectives

Format:
15 minute presentation for each speaker to address a list of questions followed by a 15 minute Q&A session

  • What terms are difficult to negotiate and what strategies have you used to obtain favorable terms in an IP license agreement?
  • What are typically the greatest risks in an IP license agreement? How do you minimize?
  • What considerations are important when defining the IP to be licensed?
  • What considerations are important when defining the term for the license?
    What considerations are important when determining whether to grant an exclusive versus a non-exclusive license?
  • What language/terms are important for a licensor/licensee in a requirements clause within a license agreement?
