LES – Michigan Chapter Meeting Notice
Date: June 7, 2005
Time: Noon – 2:00
Our speaker will be Paul Haelterman, Director of Market Assessment for CSM Worldwide. Mr. Haelterman will discuss ways in which CSM analyzes component system markets as well as technology trends in order to provide clients with information that may be beneficial in their technology licensing activities. For example, Mr. Haelterman provides clients with the following types of information:
- Opportunity Targeting - What product and market segments should I concentrate my sales & engineering resources on? How can one analyze OEM cycle plans, competitor profiles and strengths, and technology roadmaps to help identify the best opportunities that support business objectives.
- Technology Assessment - What is the future outlook for the components or parts that I produce?
- Due Diligence Validation - Does the purchase of a particular acquisition candidate make sense within my overall business? What is the outlook for the acquisition candidate? CSM Worldwide can evaluate the candidate's current market and potential for expansion to other markets and synergy with the acquiring company. In addition, CSM Worldwide assists with preparation of offering memorandum and due diligence requirements for acquisition candidates.
The meeting will be held in Southfield at the offices of Plante & Moran, 27400 Northwestern Highway (map attached). The meeting will start at noon and conclude by 2:00. Please contact Mark Robinson if you would be interested in attending.
