Summary:
On January 9, 2007 the United States Supreme Court handed down a very significant decision. The Court held that Medimmune could challenge the validity and enforceability of Genetech's "Cabilly II" patent, even though Medimmune had entered into a license for that patent and had paid royalties under that license. This decision has significant ramifications for anyone who is negotiating and structuring IP licensing transactions. Join us for a presentation by two experienced IP attorneys who will discuss what this decision said and what it means.
