Electronic Agreements-Did I Really Agree to that?
In our computerized world agreements are increasingly electronic.
Professor Christina Kunz of The William Mitchell School of Law will discuss the current state of the law with regard to issues of contract formation and enforceability of electronic agreements, including:
- Electronic standard-form agreements on websites and CD-ROMs
- The 4 steps necessary for express or implied assent to an agreement
- Best practices for reliably valid click-through agreements and Terms no longer "subject to change without notice", Douglas v. TalkAmerica (9th Cir. July 2007).
