SPINNING COMPANIES OUT OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA
Please join us on May 20 for the next meeting of the LES Minnesota Chapter. There will be a networking luncheon, followed by two presentations related to spinning start-up companies out of the University of Minnesota. Remember that you don't need to be an LES member to attend. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in a great networking opportunity and the topic to be discussed.

Mike Moore
Director of Health Technologies licensing at the University of Minnesota.
Mike will describe how the University handles licensing to start-up companies and ways that the University handles the unique issues that arise during negotiations and after the deal is done.
Carl R. (Dick) Sommerstad
Business Development executive at the University of Minnesota
Dick will describe the future Office of Business Development that is being planned at the University of Minnesota, and in particular will explain how this office will work to improve the success of University of Minnesota start-ups.
Cost/Payments:
