Due Diligence from a Business Perspective
Most presentations on due diligence look at it from a legal perspective,
since they are usually given by lawyers. But there are also many business
aspects to diligence which should be considered as well. Michael Patin
will talk with us about what you should from a business perspective when conducting
due diligence and risk assessment for deals involving intellectual property/intangible
assets.
Mr. Patin is the founder and principal of Patin Associates, a valuation and
economic consulting firm in Chicago. He has done diligence on a broad
range of deals, and can speak to us from experience on the business issues
that can easily trip up the inexperienced.
Cost/Payments: The cost for the meeting will be $35.00 per
person and will include lunch and the program.
