The Use Of Arbitration Provisions In Licensing Agreements - One Size May Not Fit All
Chris Larus of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP will address recent research regarding the use of arbitration provisions in licensing and other agreements. Mr. Larus will discuss how recent court decisions (including the US Supreme Court's decision in Hall Street Associates v. Mattel, Inc.), impact the decision whether to include such provisions in licensing agreements. Mr. Larus will also present current best practices relating to drafting arbitration provisions and the practical impact of such provisions when disputes arise.
