The Research Triangle Park Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society invites you to join us for our upcoming September lunch meeting.

LOCATION: Maggiano's Restaurant– Streets of SouthPoint Mall, Durham

TITLE: “Partnering with Big Pharma: A Case Analysis”

SPEAKER: D. Scott Murray, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Adherex Technologies Inc.

TOPIC: Mr. Murray will provide a case analysis of the recent transaction between Adherex and GlaxoSmithKline (“GSK”). Cited by Adherex as a “transforming event” for the company, this transaction included an in-licensing of GSK technology, a GSK license option on Adherex technology and an equity investment by GSK in Adherex. This will be a unique opportunity to hear Mr. Murray’s insights into this groundbreaking transaction.
