Three members of San Diego's premiere academic research institutions will overview "Doing Business With Academic Institutions" in a panel presentation moderated by Bill Ralston, Ph.D. Academic institutions are a rich resource for biotechnology, nascent pharmaceuticals and medical devices, IT software, computer chip technologies, energy sources and many other innovations. The panel will discuss how industry can access these technologies and the federal, state and local guidelines that govern how the institutions must operate when doing business with industry.
