This presentation will provide a brief overview of United States’ taxation of domestic and cross-border Intellectual Property licensing and will conclude with a discussion of the fundamentals and current status of domestic and offshore Intellectual Property holding companies.
James S. Jantos, J.D., LL.M. Taxation, LL.M. Intellectual Property, counsels clients in the areas of international tax and business planning, federal and state tax compliance, estate planning, and intellectual property. Mr. Jantos operates his own law firm on Mercer Island, Washington, and has broad experience involving the design and implementation of business and investment strategies for United States and foreign entities and individuals.
