About the Silicon Valley Chapter:

Silicon Valley-LES is the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. & Canada), Inc. LES is a professional society comprised of over 5,000 members engaged in the transfer, use, development, manufacture and marketing of intellectual Property. The membership covers a wide range of professionals, including business executives, lawyers, licensing consultants, engineers, academicians, scientists and representatives of government.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Silicon Valley Chapter of LES is:

• to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of knowledge and information on licensing and intellectual property;
• to assist members in improving their skills and techniques in the practice of intellectual property licensing by delivering instructive and topical seminars and training courses;
• to be the voice of our local licensing community in public and governmental affairs to monitor changes in the law and the practice of licensing and protecting intellectual property;
• to further the objectives of the Licensing Executive Society.
