The Licensing Executives Society is pleased to host a distinguished panel
of technology licensing professionals from both industry and private sector
with over a 100 years of collective experience in technology transfer. This
luncheon will provide an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with
leaders of the local licensing community.
Established in 1965, the Licensing Executives Society (LES) is a professional
society comprised of 6000 members in North America and is a member society
of LES International (LESI) with over 12, 000 members in 30 national societies
representing 80 countries worldwide. All members are engaged in some aspect of
the transfer, use, development, manufacture and marketing of intellectual property.
The LES membership includes a wide range of professionals, including business
executives, lawyers, licensing consultants, engineers, academicians, scientists
and government officials. Many large corporations, professional firms, and universities
comprise the Society's membership. One of the main missions of LES is education,
networking and education through networking. In support of this mission, the
LES runs a full calendar of educational and networking events.
COST: Includes a light lunch and is payable at the
door.
