Variations in financing conditions do impact the nature and success of relationships, especially between small R&D companies and big pharma. How does the availability and nature of external equity financing influence the partnering strategy of a small R&D company? How should financial markets be taken into consideration when looking for and identifying a suitable partner and when drawing up the terms of the agreement? Learn which approaches and arrangements have been successful in various markets and which have not.
Wayne Schnarr has over twenty five years of experience in the pharmaceutical and financial industries. He has been a biotechnology stock analyst with three independent Canadian brokerage firms, has held senior management positions and been a director for a number of public and private biotechnology companies. As the Life Sciences Specialist at Equicom, he provides industry expertise in support of the life sciences team in managing the investor relations activities of its clients. In addition, he provides consulting services to the Canadian biotechnology industry including preparation of business plans and licensing dossiers.
