Software Committee Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Software Sub-committee is to carry out, or contribute to, the functions described for the High Technology Sector, focusing on the commercialization of software and related matters.

The objectives of the Software Sub-committee for 2007-2008 are:

1. Identify projects based on topics of interest to the members, and to the software industry, in which information exchange, understanding, and collaborative discourse can contribute to the quality practices in software commercialization.

2. Research, formulate consensus and/or counterpoint opinions, and educate Software committee / LES members and/or other industry constituents on current events and initiatives that impact the practice of software commercialization.

3. Increase committee membership levels, general interest in committee events, and create networking opportunities for committee members
