Continuing Legal Education

As a service to our attendees from the legal profession, LES provides assistance in securing CLE credit for LES education activities. Any attorney, regardless of state, who wishes to apply for CLE credit must sign the Official Record of Attendance for MCLE Credit while onsite and supply all the requested information.

Attorneys who want CLE credit for the Winter Meeting must sign the attendance list that will be available in the registration area at the Education Programs table/booth. To document participation at the meeting to individual state bar associations, Certificates of Attendance for the 2007 Winter Meeting will be available at the close of the meeting, Friday, February 23, also in the registration area at the Education Programs table/booth. Attorneys must sign the attendance list on-site to receive a Certificate of Attendance.

The Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada), Inc. is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE Provider. Lawyers who seek Continuing Legal Education credit from other states are responsible for submitting requests for CLE credit with the required documentation and fees to the appropriate bar association/CLE accrediting agency. We have received additional approval for CLE credit from the following states:

- Colorado: Whole-day add-on, 7 credit hours; Half-day add-ons, 3 credit hours each
- Pennsylvania: Winter Meeting, 12 credit hours, with 2.5 for Ethics; Whole-day add-on, 6 credit hours; Half-day add-ons, 3 credit hours each
- Ohio: Winter Meeting, 13 credit hours (0 Ethics hours); Whole- and half-day add-ons, 6.5 credit hours
