SAN FRANCISCO

This narrated tour will feature spectacular views
of the Golden Gate Bridge while visiting:
- Fisherman’s Wharf and the picturesque
fishing harbor
- Cable Car turnaround
- Ghirardelli Square; home of delicious
chocolate!
- National Maritime Museum and the historic
sailing ships Fort Mason; former military
base, now a historic landmark
- Marina Green; where the locals picnic
and fly kites
- Views of the Palace of Fine Arts; once the site
of the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition
- St Francis and Golden Gate Yacht Clubs
- Views of Alcatraz
The first 45 minutes of the tour offers instruction
and training. Riders must be able to easily and
quickly step on and off the Segway® without
assistance, which requires physical abilities
similar to climbing and descending stairs without
any assistance or use of a handrail. Rider must
be able to operate the steering control with his or
her left hand. Every rider must wear a helmet
and safety vest which are provided with the tour.
Ages 12 and up are welcomed, guests under 18
years-of-age must be accompanied by a parent
or guardian. Please bring warm/windproof
clothes. No sandals or high heels. Each Segway®
has a storage bag to hold personal items.
Most tours will stop for beverages and snacks
at Green’s in Fort Mason. Every tour makes
numerous stops for photos.
A minimum of 10 registrants is needed to offer
this tour. Transportation is included.
SUSHI-MAKING CLASS AND LUNCH

Cost: $135.00
This exciting class will be taught by Master Sushi
Chef Akifusa Tonai of the Kyo-ya Restaurant,
located in the Palace hotel. Participants will
learn about the making of miso soup, the
different types of rice and what makes rice
special for sushi. There will be demonstrations on
how to make Maguro (tuna), Rock n’ Roll (unagi
with avocado and bbq fresh water eel), Tekka
rolls (Tuna Sushi Roll), and California Roll (fresh
crab meat with avocado).
After making the sushi participants will enjoy
their hard work.
Recognized as San Francisco’s premier Japanese
Restaurant, Kyo-ya serves sushi and traditional
Japanese cuisine in a modern, elegant setting.
Kyo-ya has an award-winning Japanese menu
with an exquisite collection of jewel-like sushi and painstakingly prepared
dishes that have drawn raves from the likes of Gourmet, San Francisco Magazine and The
San Francisco Chronicle.

NAPA VALLEY WINE TASTING TOUR

Sample award-winning, hand-made wines while
visiting the beautiful Napa Valley. This is an all
day excursion to Napa for a day of private winery
tastings at boutique, limited production wineries.
The tour will begin at Jessup Cellars where they
have a quest for fabulous fruit farmed for
quality not quantity that is bursting with true
ripe flavors to be captured in their most natural
state, picked at perfection, gently harvested,
fermented and pressed.
The next stop is Reverie Vineyard for tastings
and lunch. With an incredible view of the southfacing
40 acre mountainside property composed
of rocky and volcanic soil. The winery is located
in the re-creation of a 125-year-old barn located
on the property. All Reverie and ASKiken wines
are estate grown, produced and bottled and bear
the Diamond Mountain - Napa Valley Appellation.
After lunch in Reverie’s caves, attendees will
sample wines from Saddleback Cellars. Rustic
and modest, Saddleback’s wines are made by
Nils Venge, the first American to ever score a
perfect 100 point wine from renowned wine critic
Robert Parker.
Your last stop will be at Del Dotto Vineyards
for a tasting in their caves. You’ll taste wines
“thiefed” directly from a variety of French and
American oak barrels. Following the barrel
tasting you’ll sample additional wines, ports
and grappas along with handmade chocolate
truffles and cheese.
Limited to 32 participants. Transportation and
