Weather and Attire
Although the wind often blows in Chicago, the city earned its nick
name the Windy City for its political rhetoric, rather than the
weather. In early May, the average high is 70 degrees Fahrenheit/21
degrees Celsius, and the average low temperature is 47 degrees
Fahrenheit/8 degrees Celsius. Please check weather conditions
a day or two before departing to assist you in packing appropriate
attire.
For receptions and each day's educational programming, business
casual dress (sport coat and tie) is the norm. Remember, meeting
room temperatures and personal comfort zones may vary widely. It
is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to sessions.
